What It Means to EAT MORE

Throughout my time in both the inpatient and outpatient nutrition worlds if there is one consistent theme it is the focus of why you cannot eat this or that. In a culture thriving on restrictiveness, I want to inspire you to EAT MORE! Whether I have the honor to work with you in an education/counseling or culinary nutrition session, the EAT MORE mantra is emphasized in every opportunity.

EAT MORE is based on principals that I have found to be essential in your journey to building confidence in your natural beauty and lifestyle.

  • E: Eat with the purpose for pleasure and nourishment

  • A: Adapt eating patterns/habits to handle real life

  • T: Take time to be present with eating journey

  • M: Maintain good eating consistency

  • O: Organize favorite meals and snacks to make sure they are readily available

  • R: Remember consistency is more important than sporadic habits

  • E: Enjoy current shape/image to appreciate the changes to come

These principals provide a general focus while also allowing room for interpretation. Room for interpretation is essential to ensure whatever techniques are developed from the principals are based on your specific needs and wants.
